World Cup LogoOh the IRONY! The World Cup qualifying draw has finished: England get a relatively 'easy looking' group except there's going to be a lot of miles - mainly a long, long way eastwards - to get through!...and with some old friends!

Group 6: Croatia, England, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Andorra...

Somebody tell Tony Henry he won't be singing this time :-)

Tony Henry will be doing weddings and barmitzvah's in Croatia for a while I think. I like the English optimism, we've got an easy group which includes a team that's beaten us twice in a year, one that's just beaten Holland (Belarus) and one that were in the same group as Italy and France.

Still, there's always Andorra and Boratstan.

That Tony Henry business is something you couldn't make up. It reminds of the Monty Python sketch about the Hungarian phrase book.

hehehe...there's something else too, I'm trying to think of it; the mention of Monty Python reminded me...

Paul, you're spot on of course which is why I put the 'easy looking' in quote marks...it will be hard except for Andorra!...and they nearly showed us up the 2nd time!!!!
