And you thought military action was complicated. The slide on the left (click to enlarge) is just so simple...LINK to NY Times article.

"It's dangerous because it can create the illusion of understanding and the illusion of control, Some problems in the world are not bullet-izable."...don't worry, General McMaster means bullet points!

Don't get excited it's me again.

I've just noticed on the right hand side of your blog it says "shrinking list of ex...," it made me laugh.

That's been like that for a while. There used to be 20 or more. I've still got them all in the list but not on show. Remember Flying Finn and Iain in Wales...maybe not. As soon as they don't post for more than 6 months it's beheading time...be warned! ;-)

I received the link re a warning about relying on powerpoint. Read the article and it is quite incredible how the majority of some soldiers' time is spent on making pp presenattions!

P.S. Bigotgate...fuck! Events dear boy, events.

I know, Sheryl's (our former secretary) Dad was in the Guards and they spent weekends on them, it became known as 'death by powerpoint.'

I do remember Finn, he got religion didn't he?
