Obbligato opus...

Les Paul Google doodle - click to enlarge
The best Google doodle ever? It was up yesterday to honour musician and electric guitar pioneer Les Paul but is still up today due to popular demand; it has also been enhanced! Or maybe you could record yesterday and I didn't notice! Now you can: 1. play a tune, 2. record it and 3. get the link to the recording; the third link above says this was for US users but in reality anyone on Google.com - rather than other country code domains names - can.

Thanks Span,
I have managed to read your posty and look at your links but no matter how I try to connect using Google.com it insists in reverting back to a UK address.

I think it would've been fun to allow the doodle to be accessable across the whole web.

But you knew that I am fan of
Le Paul...

A little trick for you Gildy, if you go to this address:

http://www.google.com/ncr

it will bypass the "urge" to go to the country's Google page, I wanted to stop getting diverted to the Spanish page (Google.es) and I found the answer in Google's own help pages. (I'll post this over at your too in case you don't see this reply)

In the Daily Mail they carried a news story suggesting that so many people in the States played with the Les Paul Google doodle that it cost business a lot of money in lost work...
