Ocean odyssey...

Lettuce pray they aren't tempting fate: "Relatives of some who died on the Titanic are on a voyage to the North Atlantic site where the liner sank, to mark 100 years since the disaster. MS Balmoral* has left Southampton docks, retracing the route of the ill-fated cruise liner's maiden voyage".

* MS Balmoral was built and previously sailed as Crown Odyssey.

Watched this on the news last night abd found the whole thing slightly creepy but can't explain why. I've been to battlefields, war graves and Auschwitz but there's something about the whole Titanic experience that makes me feel a little uneasy. Can't explain why.

Yes, a bit odd to say the least. visiting land based sites isn't quite the same a shaving a million trillion tons and multiple hundreds of miles of sea water around you...
