Open objectors...

"As soon as the coin in the coffer rings, the soul from purgatory springs" or so many of the Del-Boy preachers said. Many objected; one of those wrote ninety five statements that quickly became the first media revolution; which led to a ration of invertebrates [or something] permitting anyone to kill said objector without legal consequence. The ensuing schism was massive and continues to this day. "What is Ows on about?" you cry! Reading Cranmer today would give you a massive clue. You certainly don't have to be a Christian - practising or not - to feel serious concern at how "Politicians and lawyers have conspired to nullify our ancient and hard-won liberties: we are no longer free."

I actually agree with the comments by Ms McQueen on this and I do take offence that secularisation must equal socialism. That said however that is not the argument here is it - the point is that you can't overturn something in law without the due process of law.

I think I've said before that I know a High Court Judge who is one of the funniest most down to earth people I know but unfortunately his grasp of common sense and public opinion are somewhat lacking.

I read a post the other day where somebody claimed Sharia Law was coming into force within five years, not sure how that works. I just wish some of these trolls would put as much effort into 'proper' politics than posting nonsense.

Did you see my reply to her, not really on the serious stuff but on the petty missing of capital letters. These days of course secularism should equal nothing (meaning it's the norm, not that it doesn't matter!). The point I make is that all our systems that have worked OK for centuries are being replaced by unfairer and worse systems and being changed even though they aren't broken just because they were formed as Judeo Christian based, a big mistake, the Church is well out of the machinations of State and has been for yonks.
