They may be trying to disguise it a bit because before it had updated at 13 something but I posted at 13:44 GMT (14:44 BST and 15:44 here) and by the time I had finished posting it was gone 14:15 GMT already and the link had nothing about her apology.

makes no odds, and not the first time their updated time hasn't been correct.Span Owshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10144861546996033462noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16962681.post-39234306401362850782010-10-30T17:19:36.375+01:002010-10-30T17:19:36.375+01:00Thanks Gildy, too many think LIB?LAB?CON are near ...Thanks Gildy, too many think LIB?LAB?CON are near enough the same...they're probably right. I suppose many independents and minor parties could get a few seats but they would achieve nothing if they didn't go with the flow...that is the problem with the system we have.

re the election point ...trouble is the Coalition is what we've got. I suppose Cameron could have had a minority government if Brown had stepped down the same way (and no deal between Lab and Lib Dem) but then there would have been an early election and to be honest the most likely outcome would be a Conservatives win outright (because nothing new would have been done to make them unpopular and more people would turn on labour and UKIP would probably step aside and just this last would have given CON 20 odd more seats...all hypothetical of course.Span Owshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10144861546996033462noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16962681.post-76594952791840163162010-10-30T15:55:25.625+01:002010-10-30T15:55:25.625+01:00I meant to add the only way Parliament can change ...I meant to add the only way Parliament can change is dependent on who stands and is elected for office(whether they are Independent or a new party)or they are part of the three main parties but whilst you hope you'll get compassionate politicians you could equally end up with people who are even more extreme in their views. The Great Gildersleevehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14645982900310730576noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16962681.post-23637753993729268912010-10-30T15:51:27.343+01:002010-10-30T15:51:27.343+01:00Whatever you think in private(and people do someti...Whatever you think in private(and people do sometimes say things that they shouldn't)but with someone like HH and how hot she is on many things you'd think her speech writers or if she wrote that speech herself she'd know better.

She has apologised according to another area on the internet I frequent. So that's alright then.

It would be so much better to rubbish his or his parties policies or question whether they've ditched their principles(whether that is a right thing to say or not)

I did see him giving his opinion on a documentary shown on BBC Scotland speaking up for the disadvanatged but since the election things seem very different.

Remember "No" party actually won the election. One is there becuae of being propped up by another.

We'll never know but should we have actually had another election and would things have been better or worse.

I'm not sure that any of the main parties offer any hope for the disadvantaged as all have some policy that hurts and they can all hang it on the current situation about the state of the economy and what the bankers did or didn't do.

I think a lot of the present situation is idology lead. It is also being rushed through as Paul suggests(eggs in one basket)as they fear their time may be short.

I've forgotten how do links but look at this...

http://diaryofabenefitscrounger.blogspot.com/2010/10/when-they-were-handing-out-compassion.htmlThe Great Gildersleevehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14645982900310730576noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16962681.post-27435853550061250352010-10-30T15:25:26.305+01:002010-10-30T15:25:26.305+01:00Blimey, that was quick; I was just off reading ...Blimey, that was quick; I was just off reading 'Politics and the English Language' by George Orwell (while looking for a juicy quote re language!)

Maybe re the rat: '4 legs good, 2 legs bad' would have sufficed!

;-)

Loads of marches in Spain too trouble is twats like Bob Crow are looking for trouble.Span Owshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10144861546996033462noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16962681.post-26436178152548812782010-10-30T14:58:43.340+01:002010-10-30T14:58:43.340+01:00The unrest in France has been relatively small sca...The unrest in France has been relatively small scale and only public sector workers. You could have guessed which cities there would have been the greatest unrest in before the action was called. Marches have already taken place in Scotland and some are planned for England, as they have been in Germany, Sweden and Japan this Autumn.

The Conservatives are putting all their eggs in one basket on the economy and it should be interesting times ahead.Paulhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15984687997030721919noreply@blogger.com
