Span, we were young then and it was a first in so many ways if not actually the first, so of course it was good and the imitators of today seem crap. You're just getting old man!
hahaha, Paul I must say I don't even remember that bit but having said that it's only 22years ago and I can't imagine they do they same thing (Royal salute) at today's UK festivals...I could be wrong.
Mags, of course you are right; it coincided a time when I never felt more 'free'.
