Online omni-incompetence...

This is funny: there is currently a petition to have a 2nd referendum... except there isn't. All of the 1.7 million (at time of writing) who have signed seem to have misread it; so have ALL the media. Read what it says very carefully. If you go to the government petition website you'll see the petition was posted in MAY (May 25th) and refers to rules for the referendum already run! It was set up the week after "2nd referendum" was in the news and David Cameron was saying it wouldn't be possible, "once in a generation, once in a lifetime", and as per his Tweet HERE.

Maybe this petition was even started by someone who favoured Leave...probably was considering it was Nigel Farage who suggested it could go to a 2nd referendum. Even funnier, if you go to the petition map you can see where most signatures are coming from: London, Bristol, Oxford, Cambridge, Brighton...yes, you get the idea: [edit 1620 hrs] a student/millennial/snowflake brigade are on a mission - voted in numbers - yet don't seem educated enough to understand the English.

Order-order 'ors d'oeuvre...

Classic...and I can't stop laughing: Guido has published a montage of photographs of France's President François Hollande in various stages of trying to shake hands with various 'fellow leaders' (click image to enlarge); I'm giggling away as I write this especially at the Iranian dude and the last one where at least the other guys have seen the hand but don't look too keen to grasp and shake it...the point of course was that Hollande is so unpopular and now changing tack, away from 'Milibandism'. Guido goes on to write that Labour will have to change tack too as the "cost-of-living crisis" (Copyright Labour but BBC has a Licensing Agreement.) evaporates.

P.S. Happy New Year!

P.P.S. [9 p.m.] Happy? Worried! Time to fire-proof the mattress.

Overt obloquy....

How can 'The Left' ever find solutions (to problems they have caused) if they simply have no idea what the actual problem is? YAB in the Independent is so far off target with her attempt to use GB's Olympic success against those do not agree with open border immigration : "Anyone who now thinks Britain is too multicultural?" LINK. "I wonder how the formidable anti-immigration prophets and campaigners react when medals are won by super-fit migrants and children of migrants"...WTF? Is she really so completely clueless as to what the immigration debate is about or "What multiculturalism really means"?
