...yep I can understand that: Arsenal, Manure, Liverfluke, Chelski...the bidding will be high;"Cities in Asia, Middle East and North America are likely to show a strong interest in hosting the extra games"
Sure, however, how much thought have they given this?...and no offence meant, but just who and how much would be bid for Blackburn vs. Wigan or Middlesbrough vs. Bolton?"A number of top-flight clubs already play matches around the world as they seek to capitalise on the huge global interest in the English game."

The idea is totally ridiculous and I sincerely hope never comes to pass.
Bolton v Derby in Warwaw? Oh yes please!
Or Warsaw even...
Who in their right minds would want to pay to watch Wigan v Reading in San Francisco say?
And... if the little darlings are already too tired (weakened sides for FA cup games; can't play at full potential for World Cups/Euro tournaments afer long, hard season how the hell is this bonkers idea going to help?
LOL! Totally agree sarnia..
P.S. Quite like the sound of Warwaw, especially with reagrd to this idea...sort of whaaaa whaaaaar (siren of failure)
Snap as you said on my post!
I can't believe this is being floated. I'm not a big enough fan to understand why people have been so exorcised by some of the decisions by the premier league over the years, but this one means I'm adding to the growing chorus of people who've been predicting the death knell of English football for some years.
As of about 4pm yesterday when he finished school (he's a teacher by the way) my mate in Boro (he's one of their 4 season ticket holders) has bombarded me with 11 text messages each of which has become more and more vitriolic as he becomes angrier and angrier. I feel quite sorry for his wife, he's going ballistic.
Hi Six...ha...grr...gnash gnash...tell your mate he should be happy as the only side to beat Arsenal in the Premier League so far!
Unfortunately now Alex Rednose Ferchewgum has come out and dissed the idea...how I hate agreeing with him!
