"there are 180,000 assets identified from 600 public bodies worth an estimated £385 billion. So those owned by councils run to about two thirds - with returns from hundreds of councils yet to come in.". Hat-tip CH's

Checked my postcode and apparently our town council owns a sexual health clinic. Damn, it's 6:05 p.m, probably closed, too late for a freebie.
Who owns the four football grounds, couldn't find that out.
Seems a bit much, Bristol is littered with places, I know it's a city but it seems a bit too many 'offices'. That said a lot of it could be to 'protect' the sites (obviously parks etc but also historic buildings even pubs)
