Interesting fact I discovered via work last week - remittances to the UK are greater than those that go from the U.K - due to people in Canada, Australia and America sending money back to the U.K this despite decades of money going to Bangladesh, India and Pakistan - and latterly Poland. If only somebody could harness that enthusiasm for the UK in the UK I'm sure they could win some political capital.
Anyway regarding the graph let's hope it continues despite the fact that Croatia, Romania and Bulgaria are soon to be unleashing the hounds of hell (or at least migrant workers) in our direction.
