Our overall OUT oblectation II...

"In voting to Leave, they voted for hope." [LINK]. Gisela Stuart, former Labour MP and Vote Leave Chair Gisela Stuart, her article at Brexit Central.

"Three years ago today we voted for Brexit – now it’s time to deliver and unite behind a common purpose of renewal"

In fact that was some people's message three and more years ago. We have lost untold progress through the unnecessary and sometimes ridiculously contrived delays of dithering politicians, pessimisitic politicians, self-centred politicians, weak politicians, some evil politicians and some treasonous (some all six!).

"This result had not been easy, we had been up against the EU, the Labour Party, the Conservative Party and Lib Dems and had the full weight of the Treasury and the CBI against us. Yet a majority had voted to Leave the EU"

Much more than that: nearly all the media both TV and radio. Most slebs, most economists, all the EU, most foreign leaders outside the EU, most charity bods, most university boffins, banks, most industry etc...the list of the juggernaut against Leave was immense, the blatant lies, the over funding of the Remain campaign, the use of the murder of Jo Cox...anything and everything was thrown against Leave. Plus the natural bias in favour of the status quo in most choices and the fact that anyone under 40 had never lived under any other regime, all this and yet...and yet...we STILL voted LEAVE. Immense. Glorious.

"In voting to Leave, they voted for hope." Indeed but most had based that hope on solid facts, bad experiences of the EU, clear indications of the future decline of the external influence of the EU coupled with the very sinister explosion of internal control of the EU.
